This site is operated by Mountain Mixtures, Clearfield, Utah, trading as XBALM.
This policy covers custom.xbalm.com, where custom and promotional orders are
placed.
What we collect
When you order: your name, company, email address, phone number, billing
address and shipping address.
Your artwork: the logo or design files you upload or email to us, and any
notes you add to your order.
Your order history: what you bought, what you approved, and when.
Approval records: when you approve an art proof we record the date, time
and the network (IP) address the approval came from, together with the shipping
address you confirmed. This is what allows both of us to establish what was
agreed if a question arises later.
Technical information: standard web server logs, and the cookies described
below.
We never see your card details. Payment is handled by Stripe. Card numbers
are entered directly into Stripe’s own secure form and are never stored on, or
transmitted through, our servers.
Why we hold it
To take, produce and deliver your order; to send you the emails that order
requires — proofs, approvals, tracking and receipts; to keep your artwork on
file so reordering is straightforward; and to meet our record-keeping and tax
obligations.
Accounts
Every order is attached to a customer account, because that is what lets you
approve proofs, download receipts and reorder.
If you check out without setting a password, we create that account from your
order so those things still work. We will not email you asking you to register,
and there is no activation or welcome message. You can set a password later
from the sign-in page if you want one, or ignore it entirely.
Order-related email is sent through Amazon Simple Email Service. It is entirely
transactional — proofs, approvals, shipping notifications and receipts — and
relates only to an order you placed.
We do not add you to a marketing list from this site.
If an email to you bounces or is reported as spam, we stop sending to that
address and contact you another way.
Who else sees your information
- Stripe — payment processing
- Amazon Web Services — hosting and email delivery
- Shipping carriers — the name and address needed to deliver your order
- Our artist — your artwork and order details, to prepare your proof
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for
advertising.
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work: keeping your cart,
keeping you signed in, and remembering an order you have been given a link to.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Order records and approval records are kept for seven years, for tax and
dispute purposes.
Artwork is kept indefinitely so that you can reorder without sending it again.
Ask us and we will delete it.
Your choices
Write to orders@xbalm.com and we will:
- tell you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your artwork
- close your account and delete your personal details, except records we are
required to keep for tax purposes
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy
law, including the right to know what is collected and the right to request
deletion. We apply the above to everyone regardless.
Children
This site is for business and event purchasing and is not directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes
affecting existing orders will be emailed to the customers concerned.
